As you probably already know, my name is Ms. Beird. I have a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Columbia College Chicago. Still with me? Okay, great! Some things you may not already know about me:

• I have moved 9 times and have lived in 5 different states!
• I love to travel. I even spent 2 months living in Istanbul, Turkey studying dolphins!
• As much as I love dolphins, whales are really my favorite animal
• I have been a gymnast my whole life.
• I love being outside! I enjoy snowboarding, running, biking, hiking, rock climbing, slacklining, and I've even been skydiving a couple times!
• I love school. If I could go to school forever, I most definitely would :)
• Reading is one of my favorite free-time activities.
• Fifth grade was my favorite grade when I was in school, and I hope, after this year, you can say the same!
